So... I just got a pretty good deal on a RX Jr head. I’ve never played one before, so I’m really excited to hear what it sounds like, as the RX ES was used all over one of my favorite records ever, Brad Paisley’s “Time Well Wasted”. I have a Z Best loaded with a Greenback and G12H30 right now, but I’m trying to get an open back 2X12 with Golds. Anyone have some suggested settings I should try on the RX?

Start with the Bass low, Mids high, and Treble low... or off (really!). Crank it up a bit, turn the Master down on the back panel if you need, and let 'er rip.

I have one, in fact, I got it from basement enthusiast. These are really cool amps. Very nice cleans and when its cranked up it will get nice and rowdy! The overdose is really fun. Enjoy! Todd

one of the best clean amp tones I've ever heard was an RX ES through a stock Z best.
