Great video, very well presented and explained, thanks for this Doc.
However, can I just ask, I notice there's no speaker connected to the amp, is this really OK?

Yes I was curious about that too. I've always connected a load to the amp when flipping the stand by.

Hey Mick glad you enjoyed the video. But not sure what you're asking. The amp head on the table was there as a prop to help demonstrate the procedure . Of course in a real world environment all tube amps need a speaker load if powered up. Did you also notice there wasn't any power connected to the amp head?
