And i'm gigging it this Friday. Guys, this amp just has the sweetest tone of all my amps. It doesn't have short hair rattlin' bass, and it's not paint peeling loud. But it's got the most wonderful, touch sensitive feel and I am always so connected to my amp when I play the 8. It's easy to see why Joe Walsh wanted the Z-Plus. An amp with the sweetness of the single ended output stage with more grunt. I think I've got a Z-Plus in my future within the next year or so. I just had to spout off about the 8 again. It's sometimes been the sleeper in my Z collection but whenever I take her out she re-establishes her position as "Miss Sweetness". Great amp, clean or dirty.

I got mine out to take to an indoor open mic tomorrow night and I’m using it to audition for a new band on Sunday.

The Maz 8 is a swiss army knife without the volume. I love mine but also will pick up a Z_Plus in the future.
