I've been here before, and believe I know the answer, but I would like wiser eyes on this one, please! Amp has 3 speaker outs: 4, 8 and 16 Ohm (assume a parallel Y cable is available) I have two 1x12 cabs..........1x 16 Ohm and 1x 8 Ohm, plugged into the Y cable. I know I need to show the amp MORE (or equal) impedance than it's rated for to be safe (ie: 8 out into 8 speaker is good; 8 into 16 is safe) Questions: with my two speakers, Do I plug the Y cable into the 4 Ohm output to be safe? Will it work? Will the amp be fine with it? Any issues you foresee? Your help and wisdom will be much appreciated! (benttop, are you there?? ) Pete

Use the 4 ohm output and you'll be fine. Your load will be 5.3 ohms. You may notice a little more compression than with an optimum 4 ohm load.
