I'm in the process of working out a trade where I may acquire a 2010 Monza. For over a year, I've been thinking about getting one, and listening to video clips on YouTube. Before I pulled the trigger on one, I planned on driving to a shop a few hours from my home to try one out. I won't have the opportunity to try one before I make the trade, but I'm confident the amp is what I want. I know a few years ago Z updated the Monza with a PPIMV, but other than that, have here been any changes to the Monza since it's inception? The one i am looking at has a PPIMV done already. Anything else I'm missing?

Other than the MV I don't believe the circuits have been changed.

It’s mine the same one I had at Z fest 2years ago! Apparently it's no different than the current Monza. Awesome!

I played Mike's at Z-Fest a couple of years back and promptly ordered one. Mike's is an earlier Monza that didn't originally have master volume, but he had Doc do the MV mod. Mine came with the original factory MV, and I think they sound the same. The Monza is a fantastic grab-n-go, plug in without pedals and play amp.

I freakin love this amp! Coming from the Maz 18 NR (which I still have), I knew I wanted something with a little more growl, without having to use pedals. I bought my Monza head with the MV without ever playing one (from fellow Z talker Ron), but I knew I HAD to have one. Played with it through the the Maz 18 as a cabinet for a bit until I bought the Z 1x12 Convertible cab. To me it made a huge difference in the feel of the amp. Love that cab! Also, having recently replaced the tubes has brought much more joy from the amp.
A couple nights ago I got the bug to test out the Les Paul straight into the MONZA and rock out a little bit. damn this amp and LP is so fun! Here's a little clip of the joy:

What speaker are you using in your 112 cab? My Monza uses the stock 10" Red Fang
