It's been almost a year that i have owned this amp. And, i have to say it more incredible today than when i first plugged it up.
Played an outdoor gig today. I had four extra guys sitting in. I had an extra guitar picker, organ, sax, and percussionist. And then, i had my regular band - 2 guitar players, bass, drums. To say it was a big sound would be an understatement!
But with four guitars on stage, the Z-Lux / Z-Best 2x12 cut through. No pedals - i didn't even use the tremolo and boost pedals. Just rolled the volume on the PRS Brent Mason signature for my lead. Backed it off for rhythm. Incredible!!!!
The Good Doctor NAILED IT with the Z-Lux!! Thank you sir!!
Now to get a Cure for smaller gigs.

My thoughts exactly. I can get every tone I need, with pick attack and the volume knob. I am really torn between gigging my Wreck or my Lux. They are both incredible amps with amazing tone, and respond the same way. I don't need any dirt pedals with either amp, and I no longer have any on my board. With the Z-lux, I can pull my Diamond Tremolo and my Boing Reverb off the board. I can also leave the Z-Verb at home and don't need to hook up the Brakelite. So +1 on easy set up with the Z-Lux. My current pedal board actually only has a Greer Tiger Delay on it, a Barber Tone Press and a Visual Sound volume pedal (not counting the tuner, wireless and the amp boost pedal / verb and trem. THAT is the leanest my pedal board has EVER been in my adult life (it was leaner as a teenager, but that was ONLY because I couldn't make it bigger due to cash flow!)
So yes, I agree the Doctor nailed it.
