Once or twice - no problems, but it has been a while.

I always thought they had a decent reputation. I've used them several times.

I have bought a bunch of tubes from them. All worked fine. I didn't care for their Preferred Series 7189 in my MAZ 18. A little too smooth. That's just personal preference and is subjective. They worked fine for the time I had them in the amp. I really like their Preferred Series 6L6GC though. That's what I recommend for amps I repair.

used them a lot...7189 is smoother for sure...had one not seat well...they were funky about it but not to bad...buy there 5ar4 and like it over sovtek...they are a good outfit and do help if you need answers...one of the better shops in my book.

Still running the set of 7189's in my MAZ 18 I bought from them over a year ago. I've bought from them a couple of times before that...no problems, fast shipping.

I've purchased from them many times. The website is very useful and friendly. The service has been excellent. And I've never had any reason to complain about the tubes or accessories I received.

I've dealt with thetubestore many times. Always had great service, knowledgeable input and such. The one time i rec'd a damaged tube, there was no problems at all getting it replaced. I would recommend them any time.

Helmi, Is this the amp that Fargen customized for you? How did that turn out? What was the amp based upon?

I've read in some other forums that their "Preferred Series" tubes aren't any better (or as good as) he same designation tube with it's manufacturer's name (or New Sensors brand name) on it.
More specifically, I've seen reports about 7025's. I've stopped trying current production 7025's, because I found one from GT that was highly microphonic (brand new). IME current production 12AX7's have worked in every socket that called for a 7025 - don't waste money.
But, As I said in an earlier post, I like thetubestore's website and the service has been excellent.
