If so, here's a tone suggestion for you. Grab your favorite light to medium OD (I used a Prince of Tone), put the Tele in the series position & set your Ray to Tone 4, Cut 4 & volume to at least 2 (no attenuation - you can deal!). Go to town! damn that's a beautiful tone! If you've got the equipment you MUST try out this setting. Yes - I am mandating that as a requirement. Enjoy! FWIW, I reverbed and delayed to taste (for me that means subtle - YMMV)

Hey Greg, What neck pickup would you be using in said setup?

Hey Greg, What neck pickup would you be using in said setup? Neck? DiMarzio Area T. Same in the bridge, actually. Not the hot versions.

Ray with Greer Lightspeed. Drive knob around 11-12:00. Volume knob at unity or a bit above. Cut on 4. Tone between 4 and 6 depending on speaker cab being used. Any tele. Any pickup setting. Love this combination.

Very nice setup indeed. I use this setup a lot. My light to medium od is a Timmy pedal neck pickup is APC. I always wanted to try a light speed.
