I grabbed a set of tubes from perryr. I'm curious to your thoughts of replacing the tubes that came with my DB4 or leave them be till failure and then swap them out. Opinions appreciated. Currently experiencing no issues and the tone is fine for me (if it's not ker-broken don't mess with it?) Thanks.-=Charlie=-
I would keep playing them. Just listen attentively for a tone degradation etc. Mine went out like a 4th of July extravaganza but I had it on full power with volume at 2 o-clock for a few hours. When you pull them just be cautious of removing the blown one. I would pull lower towards the base. I kept my other 3 just in case I need to swap one in the event of an emergency at a gig, etc.

Get some 6N14N's from perryr . Did yours have JJ's in it??? Their tubes have been horrendous lately. I grabbed a set of tubes from perryr. Currently experiencing no issues and the tone is fine for me (if it's not ker-broken don't mess with it?) Thanks. -=Charlie=- Mine came with JJ's. I bought a quad from Perry and pulled the JJ's out to use as back ups just in case. There's just something about those 6N14N's that I love. Had them in my Maz and now my DB4.
