I have been doing A LOT of reading and research on a new amp. Once the Cure came out it really changed my thinking on what I was looking for. I was hoping to get one before the price jumps up next month and thankfully was able to sell a guitar last week. Then I found a used one (can't be that old since the amp only came out in January) on Reverb. So I'm really excited. This will be my first Z and my first non-mass-produced-amp. I'm glad to be officially joining the Z family!

Congrats! I'm just warning you now, your FIRST Z-amp is usually never your LAST Z-amp.

After my wife was home all day we had to be somewhere at 5:30pm. And they try to deliver at 5:50. Oh well, if they deliver around the same time today we will be home. The extra waiting builds up the anticipation!

Here she is! I only had about 10 minutes to play it, but man what a fantastic amp. I don't know how to explain it without using a bunch of cliches, but I'm certainly pleased!

I'm really enjoying it so far. There is a little adjustment for me as I've been playing Vox for awhile. First, its nice to be able to actually control the mids directly. The breakup is a bit different from what I'm used to as this is my first 6v6 tube amp. The biggest plus is I don't have to fight harsh high frequencies. My Tele sounds great on all pickups.
With the amp having a great level control, how many of you actually use the master volume? I have found so far that I like the keep the master all the way up and use the volume and level to get the breakup I want at reasonable levels.
All in all a fun amp that I still have a lot to discover.
