I always wanted to make a straight up video of the band playing. One take, live recording. We did this one a little while back and my guitar player Mo Goldner and I went all Z. I'm using a racing stripe Ghia with a Red Fang and also a Z-28 into an old Leslie Model 17 that's got a 15" Altec-Lansing in it. I had the Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay going and the Dunlop Stereo Tremolo for tremolo and splitting to the 2 amps. I kicked in the Barefoot Model G at the loud part in the end. Mo is playing through the MAZ 8 w the Blue in it. My bass player Keith used my old blonde Bassman with the 2nd input trick through a JBL 15" We were trying to keep it down for the limited vocal monitor setup so we had Brake-Lites on all the guitar rigs. I always wanted to play in matching suits so there was that too. This song is on my Lakeside record but this it's own recording.

Mannnnnnn.... THAT was BADAZZ, Eric. I love everything about that video.
First the song: GREAT LYRICs!!!! Killer Neil Young vibe, powerful transitions from verses to choruses, catchy "Timex Slide" during your reckless abandon solo, and just an overall aggressive, yet melodic, character; witty Hendrix-esq (Hey Joe) ending....
Then the matching suits...quirky, yet way cool...and then the pizza which says, "yes, these are regular people," which perfectly rounded out the video.
Totally cool from a video and musical production standpoint. You covered ALL the bases ....
I'm gonna show this to my band tonight... I might contact you about covering it... Now where can I find some jump suits???/

Wow... Great video. Your vocals, the guitars, drummer, all sounded spot on. Love the Leslie, and the matching jammies were way cool.

That was a great listen. Really dug the sound of that Leslie. I know you were eating pizza, but that was really the whole enchilada.

Really cool take on that song. Thanks for sharing it with us! I really dig the way you used your effects!!! Never muddy but they added such a great texture to the sound. Really cool!

I won't lie...I was a little skeptical prior to watching the video. Let's just say you took me by surprise, in a big way. Very well done!!! Song, tone, vibe, vocals, etc. Awesome job! You even look a little like Rivers Cuomo from Weezer. Alas, the only thing you didn't do was help me settle my dilemma of Carmen ghia or z28 with humbuckers since you're using both in stereo lol.

I'm a little late to the party Eric, but I love direct live recordings and that one was great. Also loved the suits, nice touch. I'm not familiar with Gillian Welch but I should, noted great Neil Young vibe, our Canadian brothers will appreciate that.
Thanks for sharin'

Man, that's good Eric. On so many levels (including the matching jammies of course).
I've said it many times. I've GOTTA get a Ghia one day.
This song/arrangement is going to be haunting me for a while.
[p.s. Love the Hendrix quote as the ending riff too!]
