My Cure was delivered last week, and so far the more I play it the more I like it. I'd been thinking in terms of a Princeton type amp, but with a 12" speaker, great build quality, more versatility and no flubbing out when using a bit of gain. The Cure meets all these criteria and more. I'm thinking this could replace my old Deluxe Reverb which actually I rarely use, and it's noticeably easier to carry. I've only played it at home so far, but it sounds sweet with all my guitars, and I can get blackface shimmer through to tweed raunch with ease. I do like reverb, but found that my HOF mini doesn't like the Cure's loop, I don't think it can take the increased signal level with the EQ bypass switched in. However I just picked up a Flint, and that works like a charm. So far I think this is a great little amp; I like its simplicity and that level control is a real bonus. For the money I can't see there's anything else out there to touch it. The real test will be when I gig it, and I haven't yet tried it properly with my pedals, but I've got high hopes! I'd also like to say thanks to John and the guys at Peach Guitars for their help and great service:)

Congrats, mickey. I think you'll find the Cure works great for gigs. I've had mine out several time now, and it has been terrific. Before my first gig with it, I did run through a lot of our repertoire to see how the pedals would work out. All was well. (I did recently put a Strymon Sunset in place of a couple other OD boxes.)

New Cure Day here too, well last night actually, but I think you can guess what I was doing instead of sitting at my computer. Also very impressed like the OP. New to the boards and to Dr Z but wow has it been a long time coming. Thought I was onto something with my Supro reissue and a bunch of good pedals but jiminy frickin' Christmas the Cure is incredible! Awesome control of gains, level and EQ but obviously the tone is where it's at. I can see this working perfectly in a ton of settings from bars to church to my home. Takes all my pedals beautifully, no noise, thick bubbly wonderfulness. Completely in love after 40 years of lotsa different amps. Makes my Gretsch and G&L Tele come alive! Thanks Dr. Z and Guitar Store Seattle.

Quick update to say I'm really enjoying my Cure, this little amp has soul! Seriously, I can get sweet cleans through mild breakup to you-know-what so easily, and it sounds great with all my guitars. OK loud clean with 'buckers is a bit of a tall order with the Cure, but it's so sensitive to picking strength, so who cares!

I feel like mine could make the worst guitar in a shop sound really good!
I picked up a 3 pickup rickenbacker 370 last night and put the cure through its paces playing every tom petty song I could remember and it handled it like a pro.
