I've searched, but I'm not seeing anything....
Has anyone modded a Monza to include an effects loop? I've not seen any, is there a reason the Monza can't have a loop?

Since it's a low wattage dirty amp that even the power section distorts it really wouldn't help.

So, by design, a loop would sound bad? Guess the Doc would've included it had it been doable?

Loops are meant to bypass preamps where amps usually have the gain stages. Since the Monza uses power tube gain too it really won't help. I believe the Docs position is the tone loss of having a loop doesn't justify its minimal uses.

I run reverb in front of my Monza I just dial back the level as the gain increases.

That's one thing about the Monza that has kept me away...no reverb or effects loop (and I LOVE reverb). I really want one though.

Jimi didn't need no stinkin' effects loop, or a $150 cable! (but for some reason, WE all think we do) lol
