That's a cool pedal.
I haven't had any problems with my Z foot pedal, in fact I like the switch on it quite well. I was repairing a brand new Fender foot pedal yesterday and I used the Z pedal as an example of a nice switch.
No offense, but I don't think the switch is gimpy at all. I am putting my own light in my pedal, but I think it is quite smooth overall!

No offense taken - to be clear I'm not implying they are all bad or that there is some subtlety I don't care for, mine is straight up defective and is either jammed solid or offers no resistance but does latch randomly after repeated tries. I am confident it is an anomaly. I could have probably returned it but making this was easier since I had the parts on hand and is a better fit to me needs. Cheers!

@noisemaker,
How do you implement the EQ bypass when you are playing. Do you engage it for lead only or do you use the tone for rhythm as well?
I think it is much more useful than given credit

purpleteleI use it as a solo boost, it is a great feature. nmzI did, there really isn't much to it! Inside there is only a pot, switch, dc jack, resistor and led.
