Hello everyone,
Has anyone ever tried the Dr Z 4x10 w/ the Emi Legend 1028K's with either an EZG or Z-Lux? If so, what did you think? More American sounding than with the Z 10's? I had, at different times, two EZG's with the same Z 4x10 (Z 10's). It sounded great but, to me, was missing some of those bouncing, sparkling Fendery cleans that I love. Not sure if it was the Z 10's or just me.
I'm itching for another EZG now that I just saw that the Emi Legends are now an option (new news to me).
Thanks, Joe

I just noticed they changed the speaker option available on the website to Emi Legend Dr. Z 10 inch, not the 1028's noted when I started the thread.

I have a Z-28 4x10 combo with Doc's speakers. Love to run the EZG50 through it!

I took the plunge and have the 4x10 with the Z legends. I had to be the (not so) early adopter!
Right now I'm using it with my Pure 64 Blackface style head and it sounds great right out of the box! Super Reverb city!! I've always loved Doc's 4x10 cab. It's just extremely well built (like everything Z)with the floating baffle. These speaker just put it over the edge, for me of course, for that sparkly Fendery tone. Now I need to get another EZG-50 to run it with for the true test!
