Lol...I'll take flac for this but I wish it looked like a Dr Z and not a Marshall clone. I'm not a fan of the cosmetics but I'm sure I'm in a minority here

I really like the cosmetics. I will definitely own one of these as soon as Doc releases it.

I'm pretty sure the target audience is the Marshally type people who really like they look of the Marshall head. Sometimes you need to know who you are targeting for an audience so you can draw them in The actual chassis is not very big so I am pretty sure it could fit its way into different cabs and still sound killer. Its okay to not like every look, we all have our personal tastes Todd

Sometimes you need to know who you are targeting for an audience so you can draw them in I can't imagine a rock and roll Marshall player not wanting it to look like a Marshall. Whether it's a Marshall, Germino, Metropoulos, Ceriatone, Mojotone, Dr Z or other. (Man, crowded field.)

It will be nice to see pics when the other color options are available as well.

I like the look I know Doc stated it's only available in a head version . But I would love to see a combo version of this amp like in a 1/12 A 30 watter preferably. I would have a hard time resisting that temptation.

I would have a hard time resisting that temptation. I have a couple Marshall combos. They definitely do not hold their value like the heads do. The combos always sell for less than heads even though they initially cost more than the heads. There just is not a big market for combos out there for Marshall style amps. If Doc's looking for Marshall tone customers I wouldn't expect they'd be looking for combos. After all, Doc is running a business that bottom line needs to make a profit so he can keep turning out great amps.

You are right on and I know Doc is on top of his game. The head cab is awesome I just would't realistically have anywhere to play it except at home. Which wouldn't be such a bad thing after all...

It would be an OK thing! I've been mostly playing at home for the past year or so. I've been very active and my body is paying the price for it. Blown out shoulder, knee, couple of surgeries and one more in the next couple of months...double freaking hernia. Wife was right. I should have hired someone to do the drywall work, haul concrete and replace all the fences. Oh well

When I spoke with Doc he said this summer. Part of the issue is the success of the Cure. It is keeping the shop really busy right now and the fact that the two of them will share the same chassis forces a trade-off between the two amps. And besides, for those of us that purchased a Cure and want an EMS, it allows us to reload our bank accounts.
