I want to know what you guys are having luck with pedal wise. Here's what I've tried so far
OCD v3 - sounds good with single coils but not so hot with my les paul Fulldrive 2 - good in FM mode but vintage mode doesn't seem to agree with adding more mids Honey bee - my favorite so far but the mids on the amp need to be down below 11:00 or it gets muddy Prince of Tone - works well in od mode but seems to take more dialing in. come to think of it, the POT seems to take a lot of dialing in with any amp ive used it with but once its good its GOOD
I really want to try a treble booster and a Timmy as i think they would also work well given the character

I have a fulltone Clyde wah Wampler Velvet fuzz Ramble Fx Marvel Drive J rocket archer icon Strymon El Capistan They all sound good
What's so good about the cure is it sounds great on its own. My settings are usually volume at 2 Treble 11 Mids 11 Bass. 1-2 Master 2-wide open Level adjusted accordingly

I assume youre jucing it hard as a boost with the gain up about 25% I had a silver klon back when they were only marginally overpriced and head to head an archer was really close. dont know that i would have been able to tell a difference blindfolded. I ultimately sold it because I dont really feel like it added anything to a blackface princeton.

I don't use any pedals with the amp as you don't need them but I do have a Whitfill DUI that sounds great with it.

I echo your sentiments on the PoT...

KoT here, augmented by another pedal which varies. Currently, it's a FET Dream (from Cause & Effect). As noted for PoT, putting some time in with the KoT can make the difference between "yeah" and "meh".

.....for OD i'm using a Barber Gain Changer for lower gain and a Barber Direct Drive BUSS for higher gain......they both sound terrific...Barber pedals seem to play nice with just about any amp i've used....combined with all the different tones you can get out of a Cure theres a seemingly infinite variety of sounds to be had....if Felix the cat played he'd be rockin a Cure for sure...

I've been a fan of Barber pedals for several years. Currently a Direct Drive and Small Fry Burn Unit. Used them through many amps and they always seem to sound very nice with minimal tweaking to get a natural OD sound. First time putting my pedalboard into the Mini Z today. Attenuator off, volume at 9:30. I should not be allowed to have this much fun.

My favorite pedal with this amp seems to be the 1 knob boost that comes with it. It just pushes the amp into the sweet spot and you don't need any pedals.

Anybody tried a Mr. Black Deluxe Plus with their Cure? I've been back and forth between that and a Flint. I think the Deluxe Plus would do exactly what I need, and you don't need a PhD. to make adjustments like the Flint. Only one knob for the spring reverb and two for the tube trem, just as God and Leo intended. Reviews say it sounds great.
But the Flint is tried and true...

I had a TC Nova system around and decided to try it, and gotta say I'm lovin it! The delay, reverb and trem all in one with tap tempo is very handy! The boost and drive on it ain't half bad either! I'm defenatly gonna explore it some more!

I took my cure and les paul to my local shop and tried a dozen or so pedals and wound up with an archer ikon and a Timmy to complement my prince of tone and old boss dm-2 delay. With my les paul I do prefer to go straight in and use the boost pedal but my strat (stock 1974) doesn't have strong enough pickups for my tastes.
Honestly though it sounds great as is and the only must have that I would consider keeping would be the archer. Unlike blackface fenders it really seems to respond well to the Klon circuit.

As with other amps that already have a nice mid presence, the Tim/Timmy circuit works great with The Cure, especially when used to just goose it's natural overdrive a bit. I'm setting mine just past breakup and using the Tim when I want a little more. Just perfect for that in my opinion.

I'm strongly considering purchasing the cure and it seems to tick all the boxes for me as a pedal platform and the level control looks perfect for home playing.
Has anyone had any experience with how well it responds to a civil war big muff style pedal / fuzz? I mainly use the Buffalo FX Patriot which has a huuuge sound with a big bottom end and Skreddy Lunar Module which can be dialed in to be a snarling beast.

It sounds great with my TS808 - adds just the right amount of dirt for solos.
I love running my EQD avalanche run in the FX loop (also sounds great in front).
Also, my Digitech Trio+ works very well with the Cure. For those interested in how loopers / band generators work with it.

All my Z amps have done great with Fuzz pedals.

I got fine results with a Strymon Sunset last night. Used the Texas and Hard modes mainly.

Have an Analog Alien Rumble Seat on the way. Seems like it could be interesting with overdrive, delay and reverb in one.

The MXR Super Badass Variac fuzz sounds great with the Cure. Also recently loaded a Scumback M 25 watt speaker in it. The M really accentuates the greasy tweed side of the amp. Its very crunchy now which I like a lot.

Have not found one that I hate. It has taken everything pretty good. Still have not used the effects loop.
