Cannot remove back panel even after removing the four screws. It feels really solid in there. I've use pliers to try and grab it but I don't want to use too much force. Is that all that I need to do?

If you apply steady pressure starting at the bottom of the panel on each side it will eventually pop off. They can be hard to get off the first few times. Don't use pliers because you will damage the covering. Last resort use a dull screwdriver to pry between the panel and the frame while apply pressure to the panel.

I can't believe the amount of pressure some of mine required to pop that panel off. I just knew I was gonna break the darn things....but I didn't.... Good luck.
Any time I remove one, I always put masking tape on the contact areas so it will be easier next time. If you just put it back on without doing something to the contact area, it will be just as difficult to remove the next time.

Finally got it after a small amount of damage to the panel only. Seems I have the electro-harmonix power tubes with tube rings and retainer. I think the doc recommends replacement. Anyone else say that really helps because the amp already sounds great.
I have didario pre amp tube. Is it worth replacing that too?
