I think I've finally found my sweet spot. The Maz never sounds bad, but this setting is REALLY making me happy. Presence adjusts depending on strat/tele or les paul.

Just a quick hi to say two things. 1. I tried these settings tonight and my amp has never sounded so good! I play a lot of lead stuff in my band and I typically have the mid and bass/treble settings swapped from what you're doing here. 2. I am new to this amp and had my gain up and my master down in the past. I'm blown away with how much better it sounds this way (and I already loved the amp!) Thanks for sharing

Master above noon seems to really open up the MAZ series of amps. I use a Brake Lite to bring output level down so I can keep the Master up there.

And I use my AirBrake almost all the time. I find that this setting sounds great un-miced but is a little more broken up than I like when I play it miced. In that case I just dial the Vol back and the Master up a bit. Sounds great!!

WAY COOL looking....I love the early Z designs. That case is awesome too....what a gift. My tolex is always getting torn from transport. I've never had a proper road case.
