What an absolute character he is, and a total professional at the same time. Ain't nobody out there like Mr. Walsh.

When Joe steps away at 2:48 I think I can read his amp settings: V and T both around 1:30, Mid at noon, Bass nearly off, Master around 3 and reverb near 9. Trem is off.

It's an old thread, but it caught my eye as I was wandering by. Joe sounds killer in this clip - both his guitar and his vocals are on the money! Someone called him a national treasure, and I'd certainly agree!

Fell in love with this song when it came out in what....early to mid 70's? Had started following him with James Gang. I just never get tired of hearing this tune in whatever configuration he delivers it. Great song from a great performer.

I saw Mr. Walsh several years ago and when he introduced this song he said, "If I had known I was gonna have to play a song this long I would have written a better song". Just Joe's sarcastic humor.
