Say you are only using a Z Lux and an attenuator (Dr Z Brake Lite in my case). Which ONE Boost or OD would to take w/ you to a gig? Only one now.

Z-Drive! Green for boost, red for dirt.

The JHS Morning Glory has really been turnin' my crank lately..
Great for an almost-clean boost, low gain, or medium gain. Adds a bit of hair to your signal but still lets 80% - 90% of your amp's beautiful tone still shine through.
Great pedal. This coming from a total OD junkie.

Hoochee-Mama! Baby!.... No attenuator needed on Z-Lux for me. Z-Wreck is another story...for another section. Always was a fan of the Hoochee Mama. Cool pedal.

Jetter Johnny A. GS-124 on the right, Traindrive on the left. Okay, yes--I'm cheating. But I used the "pink" side exclusively at our gig last night, along with an occasional bump from an MK.4.23, and it sounded great. Could easily do a whole gig with the GS-124>Z-Lux as the base tone.

Right now it's the Barber Gain Changer. It just sounds great. But as Mike said...that's just for today!

This is an OD pedal I have been wanting to try/buy for a while after seeing so many glowing reviews. I'm not much for more than one drive pedal but it may be nice to add a different one to the mix.

Had no need for them any more. Since, I've tried a Mojo Hand Magpie, Sweet Honey Deluxe, Jetter Jet Drive and a Prince of Tone. Sold them all within a month...

There is a nice looking used black one on reverb.com right now that looks tempting so we'll see.

Hear many great things about the gain changer may have to try one some day. Used my Archer Icon today with the Z-lux and it sounded killer. Real fat warm smooth overdrive. Real juicy sounding. Still articulate and cutting through yet not harsh or ice picky. I know most of it is the Z-Lux its is such a awesome amp.

I've been trying out some dual overdrives, but nothing has beaten my Gain Changer and Red Dirt combination I've been using for several months now. I would love a Gain Changer that has both gain modes selectable via footswitch. That would be tops!

Dump the brake lite and use the MV and a KOT I do use a KOT and the MV... with the Brake Lite! And actually, I really like 3 boosts with this amazing amp, from cheap (and greta) to expensive (and great): - EP Booster - Archer Ikon - KOT

The Gain Changer is still #1 on my drive list. I played it with the Maz 8 last night and it's everything I want in a drive. I may just buy another one for a back up. It's that good!

Word on the street is a dedicated Mids knob, internal treble and bass trim pots, and an added voicing switch (Tweed mode). Should be hearing something in the next few weeks.

He's going to make the first 150 or so available direct before he starts taking orders from dealers. Last time I spoke to him, he was fulfilling orders for the new silver sparkle GC and once he is finished with those, it's on to the GCX.
