If you have was it worth it? Did it make the amp more useable?

I have an MV Monza and couldn't imagine owning one without the MV. I've said it a bunch of times, the Monza feels louder than my 35 watt Therapy through the same speaker. It's a freakin' beast...

I agree with Frank - this is definitely worth it. I have one of the first ones made and one with the first MV installed. I now keep it in my living room to play while wife is watching TV. It's that good!

Well I filled out the form on Z's website to send it in for a checkup and get the master volume mod done. Hope to send it in soon.

You will love it if you need to tame the volume!

Absolutely, the Monza MV is one of the very best made. A lot of Master Volumes make the amp lose presence and detail when you turn it way down, but not the Monza. It stays alive and sounds great quiet or loud.

I had the mod done on my first Monza, what a world of difference. I have owned 2 more Monza's since and both had the MV. Really makes this amp a lot of fun at any volume level.

I like running my Monza with volume, tone and drive all at noon and then adjust the MV to fit my volume needs

I could not use mine if I did not have it. You also keep the tone down to bedroom level. You are not moving as much air but it still sounds amazing at low volumes.

+1000 Rik...MV is essential (even onstage) and it sounds terrific throttled back. Really a remarkable master volume amp.
