Thanks to a tip from Maddog, I changed a couple of knobs out on my z-lux ( volume and master volume) due to sight related issues in low light situations. I then decided to change them all and really like the looks. ( )

I think they call that "tuxedo" (white appointments on a blacked-out Z-amp). I like it a lot.

I like them...was the issue not seeing the line denoting your level? I thought Lee couldn't find the Master and Volume knobs so he made them white to just know where they were....either way I like that white knobs look kinda like white walled tires. Or as I've heard said...it pops.

I like it better than the black on black as well. If I were ordering one, I'd request the white knobs.

Those are cheap Chinese knock offs. Tighten the set stew too much and they crack in half. Fender and myself use American made round coin edge knobs. All Fender dealers will sell them in blister packs. Z

Does anyone make the knob in red or maybe purple to match my jewel light?

Red, definitely, and purple maybe. Check SmallBear, they have lots of selection.

Ah yes, guys and their quest for the perfect knobs! I actually have an amp that I got some old Dallas Arbitor fuzz face knobs for. Now those are some knobs that feel great and actually seem to increase the gain by golly! Seems every time I change even the jewel light or knobs on a Z it eventually goes back to what it came with.

My Z-Lux is now Tuxedo'd as well! I just can't get over how sexy the white knobs make the Z-Lux look. I like the tuxedo look - sharp and crisp

I didn't do a complete knob change, but I DID replace the pre- and master volume controls with white chickenhead knobs. It really helps on dimly lit stages, especially after I memorized which knob was what in relation to the two volume controls.

This is a great idea. I've had trouble at gigs for sure but even at home my eyes are struggling a bit. I had replaced all the knobs on my Remedy with Chicken Head knobs which I love but I can't bring myself to do it to the Z-Lux. But I have those Remedy knobs sitting in a bag. Will start with the volume knobs only and see how I feel about that. If I decide to go all in I'll need some extra knobs though, the Remedy only had 5.

Based on this thread I bought the recommended Fender cream-colored knobs and put them on my red Z-Lux right before rehearsal last night. What an immediate change they made! Simply outstanding. Now, besides the amp's great overall new look, I found it much easier to see in an instant where each knob's setting was. That's because the lighter colored knobs contrast well the amp's faceplate. As for the original dark knobs I just put them in a zip-loc bag in the back of the amp.
They say that guitarists are often reluctant to change. I'm proud to say it only took me 3 months to think about and finally do this. So, perhaps there's still hope for this old dog.
Highly recommended for your Z-Lux.

Realized I had the answer right in front of me! My M12 had cream knobs so now it has black tone knobs and my Z Lux has cream volume knobs! They look great! I did the same thing with my Monza and Z-Lux. Looks great.
