I loved my WGS G10c/s and I've thought of trying the 12" with my Therapy. The 10" was great sounding. It will be fun to see which you like best.

You can get tracking update texts to your cell phone. I find that always helps the time pass by faster. I love new amp day!

Well besides having a large dent on the corner of the outer box she's here safe and sound! This thing is an absolute beast in person! Enjoying a vaporizer session and then it's time to plug in!

Soooo this is what a great amp is supposed to sound like! I get it now. I thought my M12 was awesome but this is on a whole other level. People weren't kidding when they said it sounds great no matter where the knobs are set! I was only planning on playing for 15 min or so. Then an hour and a lot of sweat went by and I was completely satisfied. Well actually I'd like to play more but I have to be a dad.
My only issue right now is that the tremolo isn't working. Which tube powers the trem? Also I was getting a decent amount of noise with the two button footswitch plugged in. I unplug it and the noise is gone. Will replacing the tube fix BOTH of these problems? The footswitch was definitely plugged in correctly because I flip flopped them and the noise was much worse. (the lead ends are not color coded on my footswitch)
I really can't believe how awesome this amp sounds. Actually yeah I can, it's a Z! I see why there aren't many for sale used.

I just got mine this week. Played two gigs on it. To me it kills everything else I have. In fact its my favorite of the Z amps I've played. Works soooo well with pedals.

That said, call the mother ship as they have all kinds of info we do not have nor could imagine.

I too love my M12 but the Z-Lux is mighty special! I wouldn't think plugging the footswitch in backwards would make a difference at all other than just the switches being backwards? Maybe it got jarred pretty good when the box was dented? Hope it's just a tube!!

Alright so now I'm getting a strange "zapping" sound (would prefer a Zappa sound) while I'm playing. It's not on every note, and it just started happening today. It sounds like someone's getting electrocuted. It only seems to happen when I have the reverb engaged. Any idea what this might be???
Anyone know which tube powers the reverb?

Z Thanks Doc! I will definitely try this. I just ordered a whole set of backup tubes for this amp from Doug's this week, so they should be here within a day or two. This amp is still a joy to play guys! It loves my WGS G12C/S. Haven't played it through my other cab yet. Also my ambient verbs never sounded so good before. So much more detail with the Z-Lux. Also I'm loving the clean tones on full power mode! The dynamic range is blowing me away.

Ok so I reseated every tube and that seemed to get rid of the noise. So far so good!
And the noise I was experiencing with the footswitch was just static electricity. I rubbed it with a dryer sheet and the noise went away.
Oh and have I mentioned how much this amp rocks yet???

The Beast!!!! Doc, I love this thing! This forum and Dr Z amps are going to be a problem for me..I can already tell. I JUST got my first Z amp not even 2 weeks ago and I'm already fighting off GAS for another one left and right. My M12 was only the second new amp or amp change I've made in almost 15 years. I've never been enamored by an amp company and their lineup of products like this. Surely there's a support group for this sort of problem, right?? I have no philosophical or other issue with "remedying" this severe Z-GAS by simply scratching the itch and buying more of them. However, my financial situation is currently not such that this is a realistic possibility for me at all.. Now or likely anytime real soon. I suppose I'm going to have to learn to live vicariously through all of you other nuts on here who find inner Zen through owning as many of them as possible. I'll get there again myself one day. Sorry for the interruption to your regularly scheduled programming. Please carry on as you were and don't mind me. I'll be admiring from the sidelines with my one lonely Z amp (and AC30) for a little while longer. Cheers and congrats.
