When doing a thread search, I've seen some old posts going back 7-8 years ago that Doc doesn't typically sell unloaded cabs. Is this still a standard practice??? I'm trying to get an unloaded red S&P 1x12 to use with a couple Eminence's I have sitting around.

They use to sell them. Brent was the guy who you would have to go through but they stopped doing it. Once in a while they come up here on the forum unloaded and sometimes on E-bay but its pretty rare.

I've been patiently waiting for one to pop up on Reverb, the Bay or here, but it's super rare especially when you're looking for a specific color combo. If I order a new one, who wants dibs on a Creamback M?!?!?!?

If I recall Doc's theory on the sale of unloaded cabs is that the product can't be evaluated prior to a sale unless it has a speker in there. That's the finished product Doc is selling.

^ That makes sense. If someone gets a little crazy with a power drill tomorrow, I have no problem with a blemish cab.
