I've been thinking I might want a 1x12 extension cab to go with my GAL combo. I was wondering if anyone was using this setup. Could you give me an idea on the improvement (or not) that it makes? Also, I'd love to see a pic of a GAL combo atop a Dr Z 1x12 cab... must have a cool 'mini-stack' look to it thanks

I was thinking... can I even use the GAL with an extension cab and have the combo speaker and the cab speaker running at the same time? Sorry for my ignorance - I just haven't fooled with amps much... I'm just a 'plug in and play' kind of guy

Yes, their is a 8 ohm extension jack in the back. It was made for that. I some times play with a budda 2x12 cab. It's big & full sounding. I want to get a Z 1x12 to go with my 1x12 combo. Yes mini stack

Cool, thanks!
I am definitely going to get a Z 1x12. I think the rig will look really cool and hopefully sound huge. Is the Z 1x12 cab a perfect size-match for the GAL combo?

JCV did you get that 1x12 cab yet. If you did, what speaker did you get with it.
Thanks Richard

Hi Richard,
I had a 1x12 on order but ended up cancelling it and got a 2x10 instead. I haven't ran it along with the 12" speaker in the Gal combo but, by itself it sounds fantastic.
