New member/M12 owner here and I just wanted to show off my amp and let everyone know how much I love this thing! I traded my Princeton RI and some cash toward this fantastic versatile head and couldn't be happier. I really enjoy the clean tone with my Strats and Teles. Plenty of spank and chime with just enough low end to balance it out. Add my Sarno Earth Drive to the mix and I'm in single coil heaven! I've been lurking here ever since I got this amp, and I must that this is a great community we have here! We're very lucky IMO. Time to show off the goods! Currently prefer running it through my Vintage Sound 1x12 cab loaded with a WGS G12C/S. Real nice spanky feel with great highs that never get real harsh. It also sounds great through my Fuchs mini 1x12 cab, loaded with an Eminence Red, White and Blues. More punchy midrange and smoother high end with that setup. Very different from the WGS loaded cab and sounds great as well. (Shocker I know) The Doc definitely has another huge fan right here and he definitely deserves it! Thanks Doc!

Congratulations Muletrane, and welcome to the forum. If you get the chance, be sure and try the M12 through a 2x12. Makes it sound huge.

Welcome to the Forum - as you've noticed, a lot of good people and information here. I've got a few Z amps and like each of them for what they do. If you get serious about the Z-Wreck drop me a line - just never know what I'm parting with at any time. I've probably sold more Z amps than anyone here on the forum (and bought more too!)
The M12 looks great - and it eats pedals if you haven't tried it with many yet. It was designed specifically as a pedal platform and works great with them.!

I've definitely run the M12 through its paces pedal wise, and yes it is a fantastic pedal platform! I have yet to try a pedal that didn't sound good. I've been playing this pretty much everyday since I got it back in late Dec. early Jan. and I have no complaints. It might be due for a tube swap. Probably a good idea regardless. Here's a shot of my board that I mainly use with the M12. Even long tailing ambient verbs and delays sound great through the front of this amp. The Earth Drive and Cali76 sound especially awesome!

Congrats on the M12, and welcome to Z-Talk! I love my M12, too--"spank and chime" is a great way to describe it!

Just did some shopping over at kcanostubes. Picked up (2) Tesla EF806S's, matched pair of JJ EL84's and a Sovtek 12AX7 LPS. I also have an ANOS Sylvania 5Y3GT in my stash that I'll try in this amp as well.
It currently has EH EL84's, winged C EF86, Sovtek 12AX7 and a JJ 5Y3.

I've had the M12 since they first came out. Loves pedals. Lots of knowledgable members here on the forum too. Congrats On the new amp!
