Just picked up a Maz 18 head (coupled with a Mesa cabinet with Celestion greenback 12 inch) purchased used from Charley's in Dallas (thanks, Brian). Have been fiddling with it, but need assistance-I notice people talk about using the Cut knob to dial in different tones-Marshall, Vox, Bassman, etc. I am a little ignorant as to how that works-what setting replicates which tone. Any help?
By the way, just setting it the way I like it, putting a tube screamer in front and plugging in the Telecaster produces an awesome tone. Thanks.

Seriously, trust your ears and dial it in to sound "good" to you. Don't worry too much about trying to replicate the other amps. Z amps will step into those other amps' territories, but they really have their own thing going on. Just plug in, dial up a good tone, and play.
