I just bought Evans Stangray Head and Matching Cab w/Blues Hope to have it sometime this week. Question for those who are using the ray w/Blues...can you get some drive out of it w/the Blues or do you depend on a pedal? I always heard it was a clean machine but I'd think those blues would add some grit to it. Nice going Ronnie! I like that cleaning fluid companion, got's to keep your blonde looking sweet! Glad to hear (litterly all the way up here in WA) ya picked up a Ray. That speakers looking mighty fine, seems to me ya might need to unload another cab, wink wink. I'm here for ya. I just picked up a Stang Ray head. So far I've only been able to play it a few hours at the house. Next gig isn't until Jan 4th and 5th. I'm running a single open back with a 50W alnico Weber Blue dog. The tone is fabulous but I'm sure the blues are the bees knees. I'm using an airbrake and a BB. Like Steve, the volume from noon to 1:00 is working for me. The BB on with the guitar volume rolled back is cool, then I crank up the guitar to 10 is it's FAT CITY! I suspect playing with a full band with be a completely different situation. Congrats on a great rig. Looking forward to some clips...

Thanks Drew...hehe, that pic was from Evans post so I guess he had some cleaning to do! Besides, if I took a pic in my house you'd see all the cleaning I need to do! I keep hearing about the BB...I may need to try one of those. I asked about pedals that clean up good over in the effects section and got some cool leads too
