For the last two months, I've been rocking the Creamback M in the Monza and have been loving it. Well, I got my hands on a few Eminence speakers this week and I can tell you, the V128 in the Monza is a definite winner.
One of my only complaints about the Creamback M was its looseness. Great vintage vibe, just a tad too grainy and flubby for my tastes. The V128 satisfies all of those issues. Only downside is it's almost 101 db vs 97 db of the Creamback M. A lot of upper mid action going on in the V128. Smoother tone overall.
Also, I found the voicing of the V128 better matches the voicing of my Maz 18 with the Z 12" speaker. Going to take it to the jam tonight. I can only imagine once this puppy breaks in, how good it's going to sound.

Nice...at least your Monza has the MV to help with the extra DB's.

V128 passed the band test last night. Even the drummer knew something was a little different!
I'm totally sold on Eminence speakers...

I also found the G12M Creamback to be a bit too gainy/grainy with the Monza. I settled on a C Gold.
