Good evening. I have to ask you, the fine folks of this forum, a burning question that's been on my mind. Let me preface this by saying I live around the Austin area. I'm guilty of hunting for gear on Craigslist (who isn't?) on a fairly regular basis. That being said, there is a person who claims to have a very recognizable amp that used to belong to Mr. Brad Paisley. He's been trying to sell it off via CL for quite some time. Today, I made my way into a shop called South Austin Music. To my surprise, I see the same amp on the showroom floor for sale. To the best of my knowledge, said seller does not have any official documents that say the amp belonged to BP, except for a few pics that can be found on the net. Here's the link to the Reverb page selling said amp: reverb.com/item/1440644-dr-z-prescription-2008-custom-built-for-brad-paisleyAny useful info would be greatly appreciated!

However, this amp has been around for a while and is likely one of the amps that was submerged under the 'not-so-pristine' waters of the Cumberland River after the flood. Just say'in !

If the internet is anything to believe, caked on/in mud improves tone and responsiveness...

This amp sold for a lot less the last time around. Like Keith mentioned this amp probably was one of the Paisley amps that spent time underwater. I know Doc wasn't touching those amps. If it were one of the submerged amps good chances they are not all original.

That's a bummer they won't be 100% up front about that. Unless the person selling it is unaware as well.

That amp has been up for sale a lot in recent years. I would stay away from it.
