I don't think I've tried that combo until this afternoon, since I always thought the Monza had too much bottom end as it is, into a 10" Red Fang. Wrong again, Dave! Volume at 1:00, Drive at Noon, Tone at Noon, Master at 11:30. What an unbelievable tone coming from such a small rig...only 18 watts or so, but man alive, that amp cranks. I was playing my LP Jr w/P90s. I do believe that I am going to take it to a jam session that some old friends have set up for us...I have no doubt that it'll keep up with the heavy hitting drummer we're hooking up with. Gonna be a blast!

I used that speaker in my old Mark IV. It's incredible. Completely forgot about it up until now.

If you've got the time and the inclination, run a speaker extension wire over to the Mark IV for a test run. I always liked the EV in an open back enclosure. In about 1984 I bought a Carvin X100b combo in a 1x12 with a gorgeous oak cabinet. That was a cool amp, the only Carvin I ever really liked. I wish I still had it just for the looks!

I ditched the G12H30 for a Creamback M, which I'm really digging at the moment. Mid range heaven!
I'm going to see if I can get my hands on another Electro Voice.
