so i like to tinker with my gear and ive had this bright idea. well i dont know if its bright or not. haha. i have the urge to pull the 2 10s" from my jr combo and throw in a 12" i know this is going to require me to replace the baffle board and thats fine. ive contacted the dr to see about me getting one from him. if i cant im sure i could just do it myself. heres my question. what are the pros and cons sound and tone wise of me doing this? im thinking either a g12h or a celestion blue. i guess if i dont like it, it wont be hard to throw the tens back in and just leave it alone. any advise or stern warnings would be appreciated.

My stern warning would be, Don't mess with your Z amp! Try a 1x12 extension cab and if you love it that much get a 1x12 combo, or run the 12 and 2 10s together, impedances permitting.

ok well the doctor emailed me back with this: The baffle is dado'd into the cab. To try and remove it would destroy the cab. so i guess that takes care of my "bright idea."
