I've seen this subject come up before on the forum but I don't remember where. It seems that it is hard to find the correct slip-on connectors that are used by amp manufacturers for wiring harnesses to speakers. The ones you find at hardware and auto-parts stores are too big and will be loose unless they are crimped a little bit. The correct item can be found at Mouser Electronics. The part number is 159-1642 and they cost about $0.10 a piece.

Funny,
I just wrestled with some connectors last night and I finally said screw it and soldered the leads.
Thanks for the info, I actually have a sticky note reminding me to look up that part.
The other notes says find casters for the 2 x 12. So one down.

I'm the geek that needed that part number again.
Thanks again. Mouser can be a challenge to zero in on parts.

I've got a bag full of connectors I bought from Mojo. If anybody ever needs some, just shoot me a PM. I'll throw them in an envelope at no charge.
