I was wondering if there is a tone difference between a 16 ohm and 8 ohm speaker and what would that difference the be ? Thanks all Dave

Nope.

I'm sure that someone can hear the difference because the 16ohm speaker cone would be slightly heavier due to the additional winds on the coil. I can't and it seems that most players agree. So even if there is a difference it would have to be so small as to be insignificant.

I've used both and never noticed a difference.

Can you tell the difference between serial and parrallel wiring?

if you have a tube amplifier you will never know if any difference you might be eventually able to hear comes from the speaker or from the output transformer (different output for each speaker impedance) or from the combination

Can you tell the difference between serial and parrallel wiring? I CAN tell the difference there. I prefer parallel.

I like parallel since if one speaker dies the other can let you limp through a gig. If you have series wiring then your cab is just dead if one speaker blows out. That is not a good day for your output transformer either.

It's a pair of 8s in series at present and as much as blowing a Blue would sting, burning up my Z would be much worse!
