Hey All, The Fonz is back with my brand new invention, something grabs a hold of me tightly.... Wait, I must have been thinking about Ice Ice Baby. Whoa, major flashback there! haha. Haven't been around here lately, but was listening to some of my band's recordings from not too long ago. And man I'm always so amazed at how good my Maz 18 JR NR sounds. In this studio band recording of our original song "Man on The Moon", I'm going from my American Deluxe Strat with Noiseless pickups, to my Buddy Guy wah, to my Lovepedal Eternity (which I only used during the last part of the song where it gets gritty), to the Maz. I particularly like the tone on my solo, starting around 2:30 in, and the little trade off with the keyboard starting around 3:16. It's just the guitar and the Maz, maybe half way up. Man it amazes me how fat it sounds. Oh, and gawd this little guy is brutally LOUD!!! Anyway, hope you enjoy. I know I did...and do every time I play "the beast". Man On The Moon (Dr Z in studio)TheFonZ!

Thanks, PurpleTele! Glad you liked it. It was so fun taking her in the studio and cranking it up. This little 18 "Dr. Z" Watt amp sounds ballsy and tough when cranked up in the room (in this case it was in an isolation room). We have another song called "Some Girls do" (which I'll post soon), that I went straight from my Keith Holland Guitar (Strat Style) into the Maz 18. Cranked it up using the bridge pickup and...I can't believe how beefy it sounded. The little break section after the solo where it's just me and the singer -- I still don't know this amp put that amount of thickness out using a Strat Style guitar. It baffles me.
Oh, and Hangover In Hannover is a song we are getting ready for the studio. It's so Fun....but even more fun wth the Maz!
