I wish I could find where, but I can't. I saw a posting that indicated that some of Doc's offerings were more gain or more aggressive than the Monza. Is that true?

The only thing I could see giving the Monza a run for its money would be the SRZ, but that's a much bigger amp at 60 watts. I can only imagine how loud that thing has to be...

I would imagine a Mazerati GT would be 'the gainiest'.

Just curious. I have no plans of shedding my Monza (a Rock 'n' Roll BEAST). It's plenty for me.

I've been trying to describe to musician buddies how the Monza sounds. I've just been sending them this video...

What made you choose these guys? Do they use Z Amps? I like them a lot. Sounds like '80s metal (YAY)

Thomas Silver and Vic Zino are amazing guitarists. They both have been known to use modded Marshall 2203 JMP Master Volume Lead 100's. Sort of 80's L.A. on steroids. I've never been a huge Marshall guy, but I've always loved their guitar driven sound and searched for those tones in a non-Marshall amp. The Monza nails 'em!!!

I'm tellin you, the Monza is a Rock 'n' Roll BEAST!! Is Hardcore Superstar from Scandinavia? I can't believe that more guys on My Les Paul forum aren't into Z's; specifically the Monza. I really dig those 50th anni Marshalls, but that Monza...

Yessir, straight out of Sweden. From the land of The Hellacopters and the Backyard Babies. Those 1 watt 50th anniversaries are pretty freaking sweet, but a 100 watt Marshall in 2015, who needs it?!?!?!
I'm glad I listened to you! I think a lot of the traditional Les Paul guys still look at Dr Z's as a country amp. I know when I was paying way too much for Mesa Boogies that I did the same thing. Thankful my boys in Gaslight Anthem and Mona showed me the way of the Z. The Monza is a damn savage animal!!!

I think a lot of the traditional Les Paul guys still look at Dr Z's as a country amp. I agree. In addition to acts you cite, just say "Joe Walsh"
