Can anyone chime in with what the Mini Z's stock speaker was in 2011? Also, is that still the stock speaker today? Thanks

Mine has a W serial number and has a Ramrod. I'm not sure of the year. Does that help?

Oh, that's 8 ohms, correct? I cannot find it marked anywhere on my speaker. Strange, huh?

Eminence speakers usually have a sticker label on the side of the magnet. If you pull back the rubber protective ring on the magnet, you'll see it. If it doesn't say the ohms specifically, I believe the "A" code is for 8, "B" means 16, and "C" is 4 ohm.

Ah, thanks. How do I use the multimeter to test? I'll also check under the speaker--DOGGONE, it says, but it's too small for me to read (getting old SUCKS) so I'll ask my Mrs.

Just set it to the ohm/resistance setting...on my Fluke it looks like an Omega sign...then red to +, black to -, it'll give you the resistance in ohms...
