I had a day off today and literally spent 8 hours playing my new Therapy. Have y'all ever played so long that you created new calises and then had to spend ten minutes washing the grey metallic matter off your finger tips? This amp is just amazing! My ears are a little tone shocked now so that's why I'm asking for tone advise lol. Anyway, I think I've decided on my standard Therapy sound and wanted to check in to see if I was on the right track here.
I like clean with a little hair when I dig in. Not total over drive but a hint of it. So I've found that setting the V at about noon, maybe just barely below noon, and MV to band level, typically about 11 O'clock for rehearsals. Am I on the right track? Does this cause me to loose bass and overall fullness not having the MV above noon? I HAVE to have low end. I max my bass out and treble at about 3 O'clock. Mids just barely on. For what it worth I play a tired tele with a Fralin neck mini hum and Fralin blues special bridge.

I try to keep the master all the way up...or at least above One O clock. Volume is pseudo Drive...so more volume = more overdrive...my experience with my Z amps is that they are a more middle range rather than top/bottom heavy. But the low end is very present...master up will help with low end.
I'm all over with the EQ and find many pleasantries all with them in any and all positions.

I would recommend going back to the amp with a fresh set of ears and see if the magic of that one setting still exists, or if it seems off a bit. After a coupla hrs of playing, I usually adjust my amp from my favorite settings to another usually with more treble and high mids. I believe this is caused by sonic fatigue. After you played your amp for such a loooong time ( eight hours of playing is a very long time for your ears and brain to be objective ) I'd bet your hearing perception changed as you were chasing tone. Might need to go recheck it and see if that setting still rocks!

Ear fatigue indeed...I find that as the hours go on, the treble goes up. Often I need to take a day, sometimes two to clear my ears out. Must be gettin' old, but I was just out in California for 5 days, away from my studio and things definitely sounded different when I got home.
I am finding a lot of different sounds even a year into owning my Therapy. Mostly lower gain stuff, with the Master up around 3:00 and Volume between 8:00 and 11:00. There are so many different shades of tone in this amp, it's just incredible.
