I host a Thursday night jam in the Seattle area, and got a great recording off the board of my new Maz rig. For anyone thinking about tossing a gold in their Maz...I got a pretty good vibe. Cab is an Avatar 1x12 Traditional, convertible back (currently open). Guitar is a G&L ASAT Bluesboy (Semi-hollow). No effects, just some light TS style overdrive on the guitar solo. Demo is here

Very cool! I have a Gold that I used to use with my Maz 18 but now have it in my Maz 8 combo. The Gold seems to sound fine with anything I throw at it as far as amps, OD's, effects, and of course, guitars.

Well, just found a bunch of other tracks from the same night buried in my email inbox, so I figured I'd throw them up on the same thread. I hit it right with the Gold on my first try, if anything my only complaint thus far would be that it's so damn loud. Love the tone though. Might be time to look into a Brake Lite. Thanks for the kind words folks.
