Yeah don't get me wrong...I was trying my best to find some kind of negative so my description would be well rounded. I'm completely satisfied now and have never had a better amp. Man the therapy really keeps a player on his P's and Q's. It's gonna make me a better player because of the touch sensitivity. I can't wait to open this baby up with a band.
Ok here is what I need now...a small grab and go clean Z amp that I can use for living room jam sessions with the guys. I've always been really happy with a blues junior for this purpose until owning a Z, so it HAS to be a Z. I looked for a general place to post this but couldn't find one. So what Z amp is similar to but better than a blues junior?

I have to be honest in my narrative and say that I was expecting and wanting more low end and rumble from the 6L6s but I really believe the voice of this amp will sit in the band mix perfectly without treading on a bass guitar's territory. The Doc does a fantastic job when it comes to the EQ section of his amps. I feel they're perfectly designed to cut through the mix in a live setting. My buddy plays a Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12 and it has a huge boomy bass response which my Maz 38 2x12 does not (calm down everybody, i know this is a Therapy thread ). That being said, when we play together in a full mix, his amp tends to get drowned out a bit and blend with the bass guitar, while I usually very easily cut through the mix and still bring some thump.

The Maz series of amps cover a lot of ground, all capable of achieving Fender, Vox and some Marshall flavors.

That's really cool...Ain't it great when you plug into an amp and it hooks you up? Love my Therapy. It's got so many voices, and they're all great.
