Do you guys think the M12 is at least as loud as an AC15? A guy at our church uses an AC15 and the little amp sounds like a monster! I don't see any mics, so I'm changing my view that low wattage amps can't be loud. With the M12, I can dime it and not feel like it's shake the house loud. Do I feel it is loud enough to play at church? Yeah, but hearing the AC15 roar like that makes me really want to try the M12 live.
I've been trying to sell my M12, and had a local buyer but he backed out and I'm actually breathing a little sigh of relief!!!!

I wouldnt sell the M12. I use mine in a live setting all the time in a blues rock band and it is enough to handle most venues. Ive used mine in clubs that range from 30 seats to 300 seats and its been just fine. And if you need a little goose in volume, just use a boost pedal or push up the volume on an overdrive and it will be fine.

The speaker makes a huge difference, too. The rule of thumb is that a plus or minus 3db change in the efficieincy rating of the speaker has the same effect on volume as doubling or halving the wattage of the amp.

what they both said...
try putting a blue or a gold in the M12 AND put a really good clean boost in your chain that can push the amp a bit. I think you will find that there is more than enough volume for church gigs. I play at a pretty large church with my M12 and I have to put my cab off stage because of the volume...
also, I tend to run a low gain OD pedal almost all of the time. I usually set the volume of the pedal at max and then dial in gain to my taste. if I want clean I just roll down the guitar volume a bit.
When set up right, the M12 can be a mean little machine.

I haven't thought about a gold or blue yet...might be worth considering. I did think about a WGS ET65 though. I currently have a Creamback, and as far as tone goes I LOVE it....didn't want to mess with good tone.
