The M12 has been out a while. I've had the 112 combo since they were released. Anybody Who has had one for a while still pleased with it? Head or combo

Bought it as a head, liked it so much with my low-power Scumback speaker (any other amp I have would blow that speaker) that I married 'em in a 1x12 combo cab. Still love the amp well after the honeymoon period.

Never tried a scumback but heard good thinks about them. My combo has a celestion creamback. Upgrade from the greenback. I even dug out some drive pedals that I gave up on before I had the m12. Glad I kept them! The low mode takes certain pedals especially well. The m12 delivers on low volume practice late at night and cranked up as well. Seems to always have that pushed feel to it.

I've been so seduced by the Z-Lux that I haven't taken the M12 out for a spin in a while. My bad.

Still enjoying the Red head I bought soon after they were released. With a 2x12, it's amazing. Really handles my pedals well - Love it...

It does as advertised!! Love most of the pedals I've tried through it. What are people's opinions about it cranked up full. You loose the "clean" of course but how about its natural dirty tones? I have played/owned 6V6 amps that are good clean pedal platforms too but never really liked those turned all the way up.

I love my surf green M12. I originally had the combo a couple years ago and had really bad tube rattle so I sold it. The head is better even though I still have a bit of rattle. I love the tone of the M12 and really hope I can get my finances together soon so I don't have to sell it. Seems like whenever I make an amp purchase an unexpected expense pops up lol.

I love my M12. I actually replaced the 5Y3 for a 5AR4 for a bit more volume and put a Celestion gold. Kind of sounds like a mini stang Ray!!! I love it!

Still love mine although I haven't played it in about a month. I run a head and cab combo. In the 1x12 I use a Weber silver bell and in the 2x12 I use a Weber silver and blue mix. Sounds huge in a 2x12 and for only 12 watts it can play pretty much any venue

still love mine! running it through a 1x12 Port City OS cab loaded with a creamback. Amazing tones...I get complemented all the time from other musicians about the tones. One of our other guitar players is a protégé/friend of Brent Mason and he just raves over the tone.
as for volume, I don't have any problem with not having enough. it can get pretty darn loud when pushed the right way.

Yeah, I replaced the stock greenback in my combo with a creamback and I really like the results. Even though I think the greenback was a good choice for this amp to begin with. Its a very neutral sounding amp that takes many speakers well. I have an Eminence Cannabis Rex that works good with the M12 too
