I usually run the volume and drive at 10 and tone at 12. If I'm playing slide I run all 3 at 12.

I've also found that that the PPIMV is incredibly sensitive. The slightest tweak will increase or decrease volume very noticeably

I've also found that that the PPIMV is incredibly sensitive. The slightest tweak will increase or decrease volume very noticeably I need to take my Brake Light out of the Maz and try it on the Monza. It seems like the Monza really starts to come alive with the master over 9 o'clock, but with running the volume at about 2 o'clock it's just way too loud at home.

I found that both the brakelite and MV (in my case VVR) were much more smooth and consistent in volume and tone once I got rid of the G12H30 speaker (tried Tone Tubby San Raf and Jensen Jet Tornado, liked both better, Jet the best). So, irreversal it could be that the speaker starts to come alive w/ master on 9. The big magnet in the stock speaker sounds great (more even response) cranked but brittle and even more mid scooped using the BL or MV. Just my experience... Rock ONward thru the fuzz

That's a great point. I was thinking the stock speaker needed to be broken in a bit more, but I would classify it slightly brittle and a bit harsh at the moment. If I had one wish right now, it would be that the amp was a tad warmer sounding.
