Listening to Lowell George right now; my band is splicing the second verse and chorus of "Willin" into the middle of Old Crow Med Show's "Wagon Wheel."

Been out a while but I'm still enjoying Eric and the boys on "Elvis Club". My band just picked up a Vintage Trouble song, so been listening to them a lot too.

I've got two great cds going in the car right now: Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats and the new Helio Sequence album. Both are excellent.

That Nightsweats album is great.Very Different from his solo stuff.
I have been listening to mid period Jam lately, something I keep coming back to over and over.he played almost nothing but Rick's,and I'm pretty sure his studio amp was an AC30.Great recording quality.

Every night when i'm washing the dinner dishes, i put on my headphones and dial up an album from my youth to listen to... last night it was "Katy Lied" by Steely Dan. Man o' man, what a high fidelity soundin' record. So much great musicianship and production.

I'm draggin this thread out of the basement.Been listening to the Tau Cross album a lot lately,'midummer' is the track that pulled me in.It's pretty much heavy rock, but if you don't like extreme metal and noisey stuff you won't want to know about this,For those with the ear to hear, here it is..BTW,the drummer is Away/Michael Langevin from Voivod,so if that means anything to you,you know what's coming

Blues how I like it-sloppy with a heavy Freddie King/Hound dog Taylor influence.Give the elder gentleman time to settle in and he will rip it up.
