I've had a TC Electronic Flashback for about a year and a half and I just got around today to downloading a TonePrint. I'm not really a gadget guy but they're free so why not try it. But even though it sounds great in the demo (Dan Huff - long delay) I will probably just resort to my default settings and what I know I can manipulate in a live situation. Anyone use these TonePrints or rely on them? Just curious.

Some preset tones are much closer to the vibe I like on the Viscous Vibe!

I used them with the Hall Of Fame Reverb and liked them. All though if I would of had a smRt phone I think I would of tried more seeing as how I could just beam them to the pedal thru my pickups instead of taking it off the board and plugging into my computer. It is freaky that one CAN beam it to the pedal....

I thought "Why haven't I tried that?" So, I downloaded the app to my phone and snagged the Dan Huff one - simple! What's not simple (but a Time Vampire) is listening to all the artists who have their own Print. I can filter through them fairly quickly by their pictures though /o\

I'd never used the TonePrints features. Thanks for bringing it up. I got the app on my phone and loaded a TP into my Alter Ego delay using the "point the phone at the pickups" method. Son of a gun! It worked I had the pedal connected directly to the guitar. Has anyone tried this with the pedal somewhere further along the effects chain? I had to call it quits to pack for a trip, else I would have given it a shot.

I smiled while reading your comment, cause Toneprint is just the kind of gadgets you except not to work properly. But it does, juste fine, just as it is supposed to. I'm not that old (37), but, really, isn't it fun to send a pedal setting into your guitar pickups? Would you have believed that a few years ago? It looks like we are in "Back to the Future"!

Then there's the program that lets you do your own Toneprint. Access to all the variables! It's been a while, but I had a gas when it came out.

I use one of Robben Ford's reverb settings in a HOF Mini. I really like the TP feature.

Hmmmmm. Well I think I'll go drag the HOF outta the closet. Sounds like a fun way to kill an afternoon. Better than mowing the lawn! Maybe this will bump the Flint off my crowded board and give me a tad more space.
