Found a good demo of the Carl Martin spring reverb,a bit over my budget at 280 new,but since I thought it would be 5-600 bucks that's pretty reasonable. The demo is pretty funny,he has a good personality-one of the funniest things he says is this thing can fit on a pedal board.

Strymon. I love my BlueSky but if I could have the ultimate it would be the BigSky

I can echo everyone who wants or has a Strymon. In the meantime and for much less $$, I'd recommend the EHX Cathedral. It's got multiple setting, tons of versatility, and sounds excellent. Plus you can store presents. I think Peter Stroud had one on his board and I don't know why more people don't. If you go used you can get them for under $200.

I'm normally not a fan of many Digitech pedals but I've heard good things about their Hardwire RV-7. Its got a Lexicon chip providing the verbs. Last I checked Lance Keltner was using one on his board, and some other heavy hitters as well.
That being said I've become a fan of Mad Proffessors stuff! They really really tweak their stuff to sound "Right in the ballpark" for great usable live guitar sound for every pedal I've tried. Haven't tried their reverb pedal yet, but on YouTube it sounds just about right, .....like their delays as well. Not a million parameters, but they just work.

I recommend you check out the Solidgoldfx Surf Rider. I absolutely love mine. I hate when spring reverb pedals can't do 'mild', and these guys have gotten it right. If you tweak it, you can get great room-type sounds, or dial in some nice splash. Can't recommend it enough. Though I'm sure the Strymon is cool, I'm not a menu-surfer anymore.

I have a Strymon flint that does really good tremolo and verb but I also have a J Rockett Boing and it's a really great sounding reverb and it only has one knob! Had to order it online because there are no Rockett dealers here so I never got to try it out first. Just went by online videos and reviews. You don't loose all of your dry signal either

I now have EQD Levitation Reverb, TC Electronics T2, & Keeley Double Tracker. I like them all & use them for different applications. Thanks for the thread. Cheers, Richard

The Strymon Flint has the best reverb(s) I've heard in a pedal...

Played around with my TC HOF a couple days ago. I'm really impressed by it. I find the most natural setting to be in the "room" mode. One of my favorite things about the HOF is the tone control. I find most reverbs sort of shrill or piercing in the highs and I love being able to dial some of that out. I feel like dialing some of the highs out helps make the reverb sound more natural and non distracting. When I use reverb, I like to use it more to create a feeling or to match the feeling of the song, and dialing out some of the highs helps me reach that without making the reverb stand out as a noticeable effect.

My new favorite is the Keeley Vibe-O-Verb. The cool thing about it is, that you can add a realy nice vibrato to the reverb. But the original tone stays untouched.

The strymon flint has three very usable reverb settings and great tremolo options as well. It's my favorite pedal I have on my board.

I recently picked up a Dr. Scientist Reverberator. I like it a lot! Many different sounds, and very easy to dial in.

I'm digging the Abbey Road reverb in my Keeley 30MS enough that it has kicked my Flint off of my pedal board. I love it's classic sound and it is a smaller footprint. Less power requirement too. I haven't discarded the Flint entirely though. I have it in the loop of my MAZ 18 NR and I use it like I used to use the reverbs on my old Fender amps to create a little space. The 30MS is for when I need to sound really big.

and now for something completely different... lol This thing sounds like the reverb in my old Silvertone 2x12 combo I had back in the late '60's. I'll bet this guy has closely copied that circuit. Maybe even cannibalized the parts from one of those amps.
