Nix-I'm actually the opposite,I like plenty of chords,so sustain and decay can be heard. My favorite demo is when someone plays the same chords or note sequence with and without what they are demo-ing,so the difference is obvious.

I put very little into demo's on the computer, even with great monitors. I look at them to get an idea on something I already have my sights on. Usually if I do not like it I can sell it and get most of my money back. But to form an educated opinion I need to hear it through my rig.
Now back to pacing.....come on USPS!

I haven't seen this posted but here's a demo of the Z Drive with a Maz 18. Sounds more like what I was expecting and definitely recorded with the amp fairly loud.
Maz 18 NR 1x12 combo Marshall 1974X Blackstar Artisan 15 Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Gibson Les Paul Silverburst Custom 1979 Bareknuckle PG Blues Gibson ES335 Fatneck 2008 Wolfetone Dr Vintage Corsa Manalishi 2014 Corsa Pure Player P90 Squier JV Series 62 Stratocaster 1982 Fender CS 56,Relic Stratocaster Fender American Special Telecaster 2011 Fender American Vintage 64 Telecaster Lowden S5C 1982 Larrivee OM O2 Taylor Mini GS
That sounds really great with the maz jr. Did the Doc mention anything about why the level and drive controls are reversed for each side. Seems counter intuitive to me. My Maz SR and JR had the power and standby switches reversed which used to drive me crazy but I'm easily confused ;-).
Current: Blackout Therapy, Black Z-lux Previously Enjoyed: Blonde MAZ SR. reverb head, Blonde Route 66, Blonde Remedy, Blonde MAZ JR NR head.
Green side is amazing in clean or almost clean boost. I did compare it to my all time favorite clean boost / light od, the Lazy J Cruiser Deuce, and the ZD sounds and feels just as great. And it's way more tweakable.

GuitarZ: They say you should be on the same page about kids before you get married. I really think you ought to talk about expectations on outdoor Christmas/Holiday lights. That could have been a game changer.

GuitarZ: Arggh! We had it on the calendar to stop out and see you but got caught up with holiday stuff. I could have met you & Frank & my wife could have connected with her friend from back in grade school. You snooze you lose. The FB videos sound great!

GuitarZ: Why is it once you finally clean the junk off your work bench, within 5 minutes, you find yourself ready to deposit some other junk right back on to that now clean space?

rossco: the variable e.q bypass is great because while bypassed it you get the raw sound of the amp without the e.q and everything else attenuating the signal which sounds great and a because its variable on the foot switch you can dial in to taste, 1/2 way I like

rossco: you don't have to fully bypass the tone stack which is great because gives you room to dial in your sound, it certainly thickens up the sound and adds nice growl/midrange growl. I don't like pedals so this replaces everything for me

easyed: It seems that the only time I clean off my workbench is when I need the space for something else. If I don't take a break, it's less than 5 minutes before that space is full again.
