Doc can I borrow $75 from you! I had pinned my ears back for that $200 price point! It' all good especially considering that the pedal has so much tonal range available with the active EQ with separate B,M,T tone controls as well as a separate boost section and overdrive section! I kind of thought $200 was going to be hard to stick to when it was all said and done! Will have to sell some more "Pencils" to get that extra $75! Doc does Jake at Humbucker Music have an order in for a run of the "Z-Drives"! Regards, Mac

$275 I was quoted from Brent at Guitar Riot last friday. Zoiks....hope the Canadian dealers can stick close to that $275 mark...at current exchange, that's almost $350!

I think the mid-$300 price is where you will see the price. Lauzon and L&M pricing on Z stuff is pretty consistent at 25 to 30% exchange difference.

Ok Z-folk. Get yourself a Z-Drive asap. I enjoy this pedal so much! I love it as a clean boost on the green channel(germanium) and a very nice drive on the red(mosfet). After turning knobs...and used with my favorite drives(stacks awesome with other pedals)...I learned just how versatile the Z Drive is. The red side(mosfet)has lots of gain on tap and stacks very well with my JHS Angry Charlie(brown sound). I'm a little embarrassed to say this...but here goes: I set the gain high on the green channel(about 3:00) and it sounds so great by itself. If I want extra drive I add my Timmy pedal with gain about 1-2:00). Loved it so much...I didn't want to turn it back as a clean boost. So I set up the red channel with light gain(about 9:00-10;00) Wow...I know it may not have been designed this way but WOW! I love the red side as a boost for soloing. Keep in mind I play Country/Southern rock with a little classic rock...and on Sunday's Modern Christian music. With all of that said my amp is a StangRay, guitar: Crook Custom Tele, drive pedals are now Timmy,JHS Angry Charlie, and the new Z Drive(not in that order). I have a MAZ 18 but have not tried my Z drive with it yet. To my ears with the red side set up as a boost with light drive it makes my Stang Ray sound almost...I daresay "Z Wreck-like". Please don't kick me off this board for saying that! Awesome job on this pedal Doc! Glad I got #10. I see my 2nd Z drive for my practice board in the months ahead. I have my 1st gig with the Z drive this Saturday...can't wait.

OK, I'll say it-that's a lot of clams. I'll say this too-you get what you pay for.
