You tease us with one shot of the thing sitting on a cab!?!?! What's wrong with you man!!!
Thats like taking a hot woman to a restaurant, you sit down and order, 5 minutes later she goes, I'd rather eat this at your place after a good 'workout'...so you call the waiter and ask him to bag the food and bring the check....you drive her home, walk through the front door knowing that you're home free....you close the door behind you...
....and then you wake up!
I think that justifies the frustration that we all feel from seeing one little teeny weeny shot of that beast....
We need hi-res shots of the face, the knobs, the switches, the back, the tubes, the guts, any dust (although, I suspect you're cleaning the amp 5 times a day at this point) you might have on the amp, etc, etc
Please let us have it....we're dying here!!!

Just got in from my FIRST rehearsal with the Stingray and I'm on a Z high!! Wow, this amp is amazing...I'm beyond pleased, the bandmates were constantly remarking on how good it sounded throughout the 3 hour practice. Saturday nights gig can't get here fast enough ;D
I've always held out making the final call on an amp until getting it around drums, bass and other amps...because I've had many sound good at home and like junk with a band. Z's definitely nailed a home run on this one!

What kind of stuff does your band do?

What kind of stuff does your band do? One does honky tonk...Byrds, FlyingBB, Gram Parsons, Haggard, Hank, Yoakam, Earle, etc. The other does R&B, blues, classic rock & originals.

It's so true, it really is hard to tell what's going sound good on the gig. In the store you're thinking "yea, I like it", at home you're thinking "should be all right" then after the first tune on the gig you're trying to figure out what you'll get to trade it back in. Done there, been that.

Too funny Bill, that sums up my two gigs as well.....if my SR don't show SOON I'm gonna back out and put it toward a MantaRay !!!!!!!!!

Dude, you need to change out the grill to match that tan face on the Stingray! That would look so deluxe!

hehehe... too bad it's not as easy to change the real grill cloth. I think the biggest challenge is finding grill cloth that same color, but it would sure look cool!
